Broadband
Prior to the meeting Adam Twilley gave a presentation to explain his efforts to improve the village broadband. This is ongoing and will be a feature on the village web site.
Minutes of previous meeting
The minutes of the meeting held on the 19 September 2008 were read and approved as a true record.
Proposed- Andrew Usborne, Seconded- Liz Cox. Carried unanimously.
Matters arising
Peter expressed his concern that no items for expenditure had been proposed to justify our Precept.
Finance
Peter explained that we are now required to have our own “internal auditor”.
Dawn Crawford had “volunteered”.
Proposed Andrew Usborne, Seconded Rachel Williams. Carried unanimously.
The finance report was explained. Because we had expenditure less than £1,000 we did not have to pay for the external auditors.

Proposed Tom Blake, Seconded Ken Exton. Carried unanimously.
Election of officers
No nominations were received before the meeting nor at the meeting. Peter Williams and Keith Smith agreed to stand as Chairman and Clerk respectively.
Proposed Tom Blake, Seconded Liz Cox. Carried unanimously.
